With the snowy weather encroaching, Shelter House has launched their winter campaign called The Gift of Warmth.
The first donation was made by Kimberly Kennedy for $500 in memory of her late uncle.
With a fundraising goal of $200,000, all the funds raised will help buy food for their in house kitchen, supplies like hygiene products and new underwear for their clients and warm winter clothing and accessories.
They are also accepting volunteers in their kitchen to help prepare meals.
