A large donation of anti-viral wipes is coming to help keep campuses, and office spaces clean.
Lysol has donated more than five million disinfecting wipes to George Jeffrey Children’s Centre, Camp Quality, the Victorian Order of Nurses, Confederation College and Lakehead University. There are many other organizations in Thunder Bay and in Northwestern Ontario that are also receiving wipes from the large company.
The 84 skids arrived via four tractor trailers in October.
At the university, they will be used in high traffic areas and popular spots. The college will use their 10 skids for classrooms, labs and public areas. They will also be available to those who can’t purchase them.
Thunder Bay United Way will also be helping it’s partners if they need any cleaning wipes for their facilities or clients.
So far, 45 local agencies are benefitting from the generous donation.
