I was NOT a big fan of the latest round of Superman or Justice League movies, I felt that there was a whole lot left to be be desired. It seems like Marvel has been killing it in the movie department (Black Panther, The Avengers, Spiderman, etc.) while DC has had better luck with it’s TV shows (Flash, Supergirl, Arrow, etc.). One movie that DC put out recently that I REALLY enjoyed was Wonder Woman a few years back. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and Gal Gadot’s portrayal of the Amazon Princess and have been looking forward to another Wonder Woman movie ever since. Well, the wait is almost over! Wonder Woman 1984 was originally slated to come out in June but the pandemic pushed it (and many other movies) back several times. It was announced yesterday that the movie will finally see it’s release on Christmas Day this year. As with many other movie premieres, you’ll be able to go to the theatre to see it (at least as of right now) or you can also get it on HBO Max on release day. I’ve posted the trailer for Wonder Woman 1984 below, it’s a prequel of sorts to the first Wonder Woman movie, essentially the story would have taken place in the middle of the story of the original. Take a look!
