The LCBO is getting with the times.
The provincial government announced new hours for Ontario’s liquor stores to match up with those for cannabis stores.
The extensions of hours from 9 am to 11 pm will take place when cannabis stores open across the province.
Finance Minister Vic Fedeli says the new hours are optional for stores that sell alcohol.
He says the new hours are meant to benefit consumers who don’t work traditional 9-5 jobs.
