City police are taking the time to enjoy the holidays despite a busy schedule.
Acting Chief Sylvie Hauth tells us that while officers may be working on Christmas Day, they usually have a special meal to celebrate.
“We have different units so a lot of officers get together as a unit and celebrate with potlucks.”
Hauth adds that they try to allow officers with families to go home on their lunch breaks to be with their loved ones. (File photo)
