Thunder Bay Hydro is officially launching its online outage map.
The map will display the most up-to-date information about known and planned outages, including the number of people affected, the status of power restoration efforts, and the estimated time of relief.
Customer Service Supervisor Andy Armitage says it’s a better way to communicate with customers, as information will now come directly from the control room.
