Only three pieces of mail were damaged after the contents of a mailbox caught on fire on the 500 block of north Court Street around 11 this morning. The mailbox is right in front of Ned Harju’s home, who says that he saw two students walking in front of the box and they confirmed it was a fire so he called 9-1-1. Harju doesn’t think the students started the fire. The mail that was singed came from one person and Canada Post has contacted the sender to alert them. (Photo: Vic Krasowski)
